Serpent Inflatable Flood Tubes
Protect Your Property From Flood Damage
The inflatable flood control tube is a full scale flood protection system that is meant to provide a bigger solution for already big flood threats. Flood barriers are completely air filled with a focus on speed and convenience. A 30ft length Serpent™ berm can inflate in under 12-18 minutes. Sections can be connected to create a larger barrier.
Available in 15ft and 30ft length tubes, they can protect up to 3ft in height against dangerous flooding. Achieve efficient and durable flood protection that also provides convenience. Deflates, rolls up and stores easily on pallets for easy transport and future deployment.
Inflatable
Easily inflates with a standard air pump.
3’+ High Protection
Protect up to 3ft in height against dangerous floods.
2 Lengths
Available in 15ft and 30ft lengths.
How It Works
1) Pressure Creates Support: Flowing water over the skirt of the will serve as ballast, keeping the inflatable flood barrier positioned securely when protecting against flooding
2) Damming Ability: The damming ability of the is up to around 40” of flooding, making this one of the highest off-the-shelf flood barriers available.
3) Ability to Connect: tubes can be fastened together into a longer inflatable flood protection barrier, using included velcro tube connector sheets.
Simple Setup
Roll Out
-
Unpack and transport to the protection site
-
Remove any larger rocks or obstacles
-
Unroll completely in direction the flood control is needed
-
Make sure skirt is facing the direction of flooding
Inflate
-
Unfurl to keep tube open and ready for inflation
-
Unscrew valve cap and use standard electric air pump with a standard “military valve” air hose adapter (similar to what is used for inflatable kayaks)
-
Once inflated, replace the valve cap to prevent air leakage
Stake (Dependant on Surface)
-
String rope through buckles on each tube
-
Tie a knot that a ground stake can be placed through
-
Insert ground stake through knot loop and tighten the line
-
Insert stakes through reinforced holes on skirt for added stability
Attach Sections as Needed To Lengthen Your Flood Barrier
-
Insert rope through metal loops on adjacent tubes
-
Tighten tubes to each other and close the spacing between tubes
-
Unroll and place velcro connector sheet over the two tube and velcro down to seal the gap
